FANTASY FORECAST 2018/19: FPL Gameweek 34
Ahead of each Gameweek in the Fantasy Premier League, The Hype Train invites a special guest onto its Fantasy Forecast, where the three members of the Hype Team and its Special Guests will duel for FPL supremacy in predicting Premier League scores, as well as going head to head in picking a Scout Picks squad for the relevant Gameweek. In addition, we give our insight into who are the players to watch and those to drop, both for traditional FPL leagues and the Draft mode, as well as providing insight into captaincy picks, differentials for the week, and more. Welcome to the Forecast. All aboard.

Fantasy Premier League: Gameweek 34 Deadline
For the 2016/17 Premier League season, the FPL deadline will be one hour before the commencement of the week's first game. The Premier League website lists each FPL deadline, you can always ask on social media, and you can also view a real time countdown on our Weekly Hype page.

How does our Forecasting work?
We have taken to our Hype Team, and the FPL Community, to compete in a weekly head to head dual of wits. We ask the questions that dominate each week in the Fantasy Premier League: who to pick, who to avoid, who to captain, and who may surprise. The three members of the Hype Team, and a Guest, will provide weekly insight for the Gameweek ahead.
For the sake of respecting the rules of the Forecast, we have provided an example of what we're sending out to interested parties that will feature throughout the season.
Premier League Fixture Prediction: As pundits, we are testing our football acumen with PL predictions and will be providing regular updated tables and stats in each edition of the FPL Forecast. A perfect score is worth 3 points whilst a correct result is worth 1 point.
FPL Gameweek Forecasting: Answering the regular questions that come up every single week in the Fantasy Premier League community that helps with identifying captaincy picks, transfers, attacking options, clean sheet potential, teams to look our for and avoid, players to consider for the Draft game, the wildcard differential players, as well as general analysis and comments.
Scout Picks: Picking a squad of 15 for a single Gameweek, without any budget, using the rules of the FPL - formations, captains and vice captains, and the player limits of 3 per club (chips will not be feature of these weekly picks)
Each team must pick a Captain, labelled as (c) and a Vice Captain listed as (vc).

FPL Forecasting: Gameweek 34
Who are the teams to look out for?:
Spurs: Two successful games without conceding is a good start for Spurs at their new stadium. They also have Huddersfield at home which could be three games in a row that may continue their perfect start at home.
Man United: West Ham travel to United knowing that they are going to field Romelu Lukaku against them. As I discussed in my differential article this week the return percentage of Lukaku against West Ham is over 136%....and there isn’t going to be anything to convince me that this isn’t going to end with a revitalised curse striking again.
Who are the teams to avoid?:
Man City: I have a feeling that this is going to be a rough and edgy afternoon for Man City, and Palace already have a win over them this season. I might be biased being a Liverpool fan, but even I tread lightly around Palace as they used to be a big problem for the Reds.
Chelsea: Travelling to Anfield is a big ask, and whilst Chelsea are the only team to win there in forever (League Cup 3rd round), there is something different from the other encounters. Liverpool will play Robertson and not Moreno, and Alisson instead of Mignolet, and the whole front free. Throw in the in-form midfield of Keita-Henderson-Fabinho it could be a testing afternoon for the Blues who will have to shake off the Europa League curse to upset Anfield.
GW Differential Picks:
The likes of Glenn Murray, Mathew Ryan, Tom Heaton, Hugo Lloris, and Romelu Lukaku will be the big hitting differentials this Gameweek.
FPL Captaincy Picks:
(C): Romelu Lukaku – The curse will continue for West Ham.
(VC): Mohamad Salah – Putting one over his old team? I’d bank on that.
Other Gameweek Comments:
I’ve been saying for a while that there are no normal Gameweek's left this season, and here we are again with a small Double Gameweek with Brighton and Cardiff, making people think there is some value in either assets. I really don’t buy it, personally, and will be looking towards next week when higher value assets come into the frame.

Man United (H) vs. West Ham
Who are the teams to look out for?:
Leicester: As a die-hard Newcastle fan, when you've been a Toon supporter long enough you can start to read the signs of impending doom. Our away form has been below par this week, and with a trio of Leicester attacking options in good form, the feeling is that we will struggle.
Wolves: Southampton aren't all that, whilst Wolves will be looking to bounce back after losing dramatically in the FA Cup semi-final to Watford.
Everton: An obligatory 3 points is on the cards with Fulham on the horizon.
Spurs: An early game on Saturday might be the wrong time to captain a Spurs player, but the stakes have changed at their new home - Son and Eriksen are essential.
Who are the teams to avoid?:
Cardiff: Relegation is looming and will pretty much be confirmed if they lose at Brighton. It will be a sorry end to a traumatic season (after the loss of Sala).
FPL Captaincy Picks:
(C): Mohamed Salah – Liverpool put out a statement about racism against Mo Salah by Chelsea fans. This pretty much means that Salah's scoring this weekend against his former club.
(VC): Jamie Vardy – Form is strong with this one.
Other Gameweek Comments:
The debate over Brighton should be quite simple. Back-to-back Double Gameweek fixtures, both at home, against teams that struggle on the road, is an easy one. Ryan and Duffy are my main contenders, whilst Knockaert might be a stellar hidden gem this week.

Who are your essential Gameweek player picks?:
Duffy is a great choice with a back to back double Gameweek, plus goal threat, very cheap 4.7m and rising!
Son is another essential player for this week as Kane is injured so Son has a great chance to play upfront.
Who are the players that might make the difference this Gameweek in the Draft?:
Roberto Firmino is in great form and Sergio Aguero is back from an injury, these players will change this week’s Gameweek Drafts.
Who are the teams to look out for?:
Leicester City, great form under the new manager.
Watford does well against Arsenal and also they have a great double Gameweek fixtures in GW35.
