FANTASY FORECAST 2018/19: FPL Double Gameweek 32
Ahead of each Gameweek in the Fantasy Premier League, The Hype Train invites a special guest onto its Fantasy Forecast, where the three members of the Hype Team and its Special Guests will duel for FPL supremacy in predicting Premier League scores, as well as going head to head in picking a Scout Picks squad for the relevant Gameweek. In addition, we give our insight into who are the players to watch and those to drop, both for traditional FPL leagues and the Draft mode, as well as providing insight into captaincy picks, differentials for the week, and more. Fantasy Premier League: Gameweek 32 Deadline
For the 2016/17 Premier League season, the FPL deadline will be one hour before the commencement of the week's first game. The Premier League website lists each FPL deadline, you can always ask on social media, and you can also view a real time countdown on our Weekly Hype page.
How does our Forecasting work?
We have taken to our Hype Team, and the FPL Community, to compete in a weekly head to head dual of wits. We ask the questions that dominate each week in the Fantasy Premier League: who to pick, who to avoid, who to captain, and who may surprise. The three members of the Hype Team, and a Guest, will provide weekly insight for the Gameweek ahead.
For the sake of respecting the rules of the Forecast, we have provided an example of what we're sending out to interested parties that will feature throughout the season.
Premier League Fixture Prediction: As pundits, we are testing our football acumen with PL predictions and will be providing regular updated tables and stats in each edition of the FPL Forecast. A perfect score is worth 3 points whilst a correct result is worth 1 point.
FPL Gameweek Forecasting: Answering the regular questions that come up every single week in the Fantasy Premier League community that helps with identifying captaincy picks, transfers, attacking options, clean sheet potential, teams to look our for and avoid, players to consider for the Draft game, the wildcard differential players, as well as general analysis and comments.
Scout Picks: Picking a squad of 15 for a single Gameweek, without any budget, using the rules of the FPL - formations, captains and vice captains, and the player limits of 3 per club (chips will not be feature of these weekly picks)
Each team must pick a Captain, labelled as (c) and a Vice Captain listed as (vc).

Who are the teams to look out for?:
Man City: City fans will tell you that Liverpool get ‘all the luck go their way’. Liverpool fans will be shown the Steven Gerrard slip when they say ‘City have Cardiff and Fulham spaced four days apart in a Double gameweek.’ That is literally what I have seen on twitter today between FPL accounts.
Chelsea: A Gameweek against Cardiff and Brighton is a dream come true for FPL managers. I don’t even need to guess the players people will be bringing into their teams.
Who are the teams to avoid?:
Spurs: A trip to Anfield isn’t good news, but they do move into their new stadium against Palace, and after the teething for West Ham had in their new stadium it could be an entirely new challenge for Spurs to overcome. Also, Palace aren’t a bad team.
Cardiff: A single gameweek that sees you face Chelsea and Man City is a gameweek to forget.
GW Differential Picks:
Troy Deeney has a fantastic fixture against Fulham, and also is the penalty taker for the Hornets which could play a big role at Old Trafford.
Michy Batshuayi may be an outsider this week as Palace have Huddersfield first in the gameweek, and then they travel to the new Spurs stadium. There could be a real upset on the cards at the very end of the Gameweek.
Diogo Jota and Raul Jimenez have a wonderful partnership, and the Wolves forwards are both great options. Raul isn’t a differential, but Jota is.
FPL Captaincy Picks:
(C) Sergio Aguero – Two fixtures against two opponents that shouldn’t threaten City at all. These are the fixtures that City tend to score lots of goals.

Other Gameweek Comments:
Here we are, the uncertain end of the season when all the ‘expert’ strategy accounts like Ben Crellin try and flog you a spreadsheet with the ‘certified answers’ to the potential of the double Gameweek's. My only advice is to trust the fixtures and ignore what other people are trying to sell you…literally. United, City, and Chelsea players should make up nine of your team, and then a few from Wolves, and then a differential from Watford, Palace, or Spurs. This Gameweek should be cut and dry.

Best GW Attacking Options:
Boring answer: City. Two plum fixtures against Fulham and Cardiff, the teams who sit at #1 and #3 for goals conceded this season. A city attacking triple up is very tempting. Honourable mentions: Chelsea and Man U, who also face leaky back lines.
Hazard, Higgy, Rash, Pogba all with high points ceilings across the two games. From the singlers, Auba has the potential to menace Newcastle. He’s second only to King Kun on the home goals scored charts. If I wasn’t on the FH and wanted a differential captain, he’d be the one.
Best GW Defensive / Clean Sheet Potential:
City and Chelsea both sit in the Top Four for clean sheets and least goals conceded so a mixture of defenders/keepers from them is a must. Palace is a quietly great defensive side, Top half of the table for clean sheets and GC. I think having one of their defenders is essential, esp someone who can also score of bring the bps (Schlupp/AWB). BHA should be able to keep a cleanie home to Saints, amd ditto Watford hosting Fulham. Duffy/Foster should be given some consideration.
Who are your essential Gameweek player picks?:
Boring answer: Kun, Sterling, Hazard. If you’re building a FH team without all three you either know something I don’t or like to take huge risks. 2-3 defender/keeper combo from City and Chelsea also essential.
Who are the players that might make the difference this Gameweek in the Draft?:
Kane, Son or Alli. I’ve seen a lot of Twitter chatter about Spurs facing tough opposition in Pool and Palace but if you’re on FH why not take a punt? Spurs are chasing a CL spot and will want to play big both at Anfield and their brand new home. Fun Fact: they lead the league in away goals. Another fun fact: Kane’s live ownership is hovering around 6% … I repeat 6%!!
Both Silvas could fill a cheeky third City slot. Pep Roulette could bite but either could also haul, especially El Mago.
I’d also say a couple of single game weekers could make a difference, particularly Auba home to Newcastle and Vardy home to Bournemouth, who only trail Fulham for most goals conceded away from home (35!)
Who are the teams to look out for?:
Boring answer: City, Chelsea, Spurs. More interesting answer: Palace, Watford and BHA.
Who are the teams to avoid?:
Double trouble for Fulham and Cardiff, their assets should only be lining your bench. I also wonder if Man U may now be a sheep in wolve’s clothing. This despite the fact I have picked them to score five across the two matches. I think they will be a better attacking pick then defensive one, with Watford a very good away team and Wolves no slouch at Molineaux. How will Lukaku’s (rumoured) absence impact them? We shall see.

If you’re not on a Free Hit, don’t fret. A mix of essential doublers (Aguero/Raz/Haz/Pogba/Rash/Jimenez) and strong single Gameweek candidates (Auba/Vardy/Mane) could still profit.
