FANTASY FORECAST 2018/19: FPL Gameweek 27
Ahead of each Gameweek in the Fantasy Premier League, The Hype Train invites a special guest onto its Fantasy Forecast, where the three members of the Hype Team and its Special Guests will duel for FPL supremacy in predicting Premier League scores, as well as going head to head in picking a Scout Picks squad for the relevant Gameweek. In addition, we give our insight into who are the players to watch and those to drop, both for traditional FPL leagues and the Draft mode, as well as providing insight into captaincy picks, differentials for the week, and more. Welcome to the Forecast. All aboard.

Fantasy Premier League: Gameweek 27 Deadline
For the 2016/17 Premier League season, the FPL deadline will be one hour before the commencement of the week's first game. The Premier League website lists each FPL deadline, you can always ask on social media, and you can also view a real time countdown on our Weekly Hype page.

How does our Forecasting work?
We have taken to our Hype Team, and the FPL Community, to compete in a weekly head to head dual of wits. We ask the questions that dominate each week in the Fantasy Premier League: who to pick, who to avoid, who to captain, and who may surprise. The three members of the Hype Team, and a Guest, will provide weekly insight for the Gameweek ahead.
For the sake of respecting the rules of the Forecast, we have provided an example of what we're sending out to interested parties that will feature throughout the season.
Premier League Fixture Prediction: As pundits, we are testing our football acumen with PL predictions and will be providing regular updated tables and stats in each edition of the FPL Forecast. A perfect score is worth 3 points whilst a correct result is worth 1 point.
FPL Gameweek Forecasting: Answering the regular questions that come up every single week in the Fantasy Premier League community that helps with identifying captaincy picks, transfers, attacking options, clean sheet potential, teams to look our for and avoid, players to consider for the Draft game, the wildcard differential players, as well as general analysis and comments.
Scout Picks: Picking a squad of 15 for a single Gameweek, without any budget, using the rules of the FPL - formations, captains and vice captains, and the player limits of 3 per club (chips will not be feature of these weekly picks)
Each team must pick a Captain, labelled as (c) and a Vice Captain listed as (vc).

FPL Forecasting: Gameweek 27
The Week of Manchester begins. First, with Man United decimating the lowly Reds. Then, the Citizens will win the El-Plastico to unite the planet in a wave of Oasis songs to celebrate Manchester wearing the crown of English football. I swear, us Reds and Blues aren’t the unbearable ones. It is those Liverpool supporters who are the worst.
Best GW Attacking Options:
Man United (H) vs. Liverpool
Best GW Defensive / Clean Sheet Potential:
Newcastle (H) vs. Huddersfield
Who are the teams to look out for?:
Manchester United: The world is routing for the Red Devil’s to pick up the easy W over the bin dippers from Merseyside. The world is uniting to ensure that the Reds do not win their first ever league title (ever, as football was only invented in the early 90’s). We, as a people, cannot endure the horrendous torrent that will tsunami our lives if the Liverpool supporters can brag about it for the next hundred years.
Who are the teams to avoid?:
Liverpool: The bin dippers. They will deservedly get battered to restore the natural order, and it is the only thing to have the entire world rejoice as the genocidal club gets what is coming to them.
Leicester: Crystal Palace are an in-form team capable of ‘Crystalbulling’ any team in their way, especially former champions.
GW Differential Picks:
Miguel Almiron of Newcastle. Not quite Martial or Pogba, but he will do.
Anthony Martial is also on the list. He is going to run wings around their terribly out of position right-back, Trent Alexander-Arnold.
FPL Captaincy Picks:
(C) Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (ARS): The first step of the downfall of Liverpool will be the collapse and eventual relegation of their b-team, Southampton. Arsenal will strike fear into the Liverpool scouting department and send shockwaves into the heart of Virgil van Dijk that will leave him vulnerable for the upcoming decimation of Liverpool.
(VC) Paul Pogba (MUN): We can’t have the captaincy without the worlds third best player being considered. Behind Messi and Ronaldo, and a constant staple of Garth Crooks team of the weak is the legendary world cup winning Paul Pogba. Wijloldum, Whateverson, and the turncoat James Milner better watch out as Pogba is going to ruin them. We are talking central midfield performance that would send him into the stratosphere. Pogba is better than prime Steven Gerrard, and the iconic Frenchman (who is better than Ronaldinho and Zidane combined, btw) is going to run circles and send Liverpool’s season into a tailspin.
Other Gameweek Comments:
As the entire footballing world (that is ironically centred around the Manchester-London route) unites, it will be the ‘Weekend of Manchester’. Glory to City, glory to the Devils. I. Cannot. Wait. GGMU. BLUE MOON! One city, one love, one dream.

West Ham (H) vs. Fulham

Who are your essential Gameweek player picks?:
Big hitters: Salah, Auba, Jimenez, Fabianski
For upcoming fixtures: Vardy, Barnes, Gray, Almiron
Who are the teams to look out for?:
Newcastle: The Terriers’ are the worst team in the league, travelling to a well organised Newcastle side. Writing is on the wall.
Liverpool: A narrow win is incoming.
Spurs: Son is in form. Kane is on the mend.
Arsenal: Southampton, bad.
Who are the teams to avoid?:
Man United: Tight affair and against a very good Liverpool side. If one side of the coin will be let down this weekend, with Fantasy players likely to have both United and Liverpool assets, it might be the home side.
Leicester: Palace like to perform against Leicester on the road, so I’m going for an away day win, even though The Foxes have been decent in the last few games.
GW Differential Picks:
Miguel Almiron (NEW): A first home start for the MLS Fantasy king looks certain against Huddersfield, the worst team in the league.
Declan Rice & Issa Dip (WHU): Cheap defensive assets to bank on against a bad Fulham side.
Josh King (BOU): Lowly owned against a Wolves side in a game that looks like a high-scoring draw.
FPL Captaincy Picks:
(C) Mohamed Salah – It might be away at United, but Salah and Auba are the only top captaincy picks this week.I’m not sold on Auba’s appeal
(VC) Heung-Min Son – Salah lite is in incredible form and faces another tricky team away from home. That said, form is with Son so will be fine this week.
