FANTASY FORECAST 2018/19: FPL Gameweek 16
Ahead of each Gameweek in the Fantasy Premier League, The Hype Train invites a special guest onto its Fantasy Forecast, where the three members of the Hype Team and its Special Guests will duel for FPL supremacy in predicting Premier League scores, as well as going head to head in picking a Scout Picks squad for the relevant Gameweek. In addition, we give our insight into who are the players to watch and those to drop, both for traditional FPL leagues and the Draft mode, as well as providing insight into captaincy picks, differentials for the week, and more. Welcome to the Forecast. All aboard.

Fantasy Premier League: Gameweek 16 Deadline
For the 2016/17 Premier League season, the FPL deadline will be one hour before the commencement of the week's first game. The Premier League website lists each FPL deadline, you can always ask on social media, and you can also view a real time countdown on our Weekly Hype page.

How does our Forecasting work?
We have taken to our Hype Team, and the FPL Community, to compete in a weekly head to head dual of wits. We ask the questions that dominate each week in the Fantasy Premier League: who to pick, who to avoid, who to captain, and who may surprise. The three members of the Hype Team, and a Guest, will provide weekly insight for the Gameweek ahead.
For the sake of respecting the rules of the Forecast, we have provided an example of what we're sending out to interested parties that will feature throughout the season.
Premier League Fixture Prediction: As pundits, we are testing our football acumen with PL predictions and will be providing regular updated tables and stats in each edition of the FPL Forecast. A perfect score is worth 3 points whilst a correct result is worth 1 point.
FPL Gameweek Forecasting: Answering the regular questions that come up every single week in the Fantasy Premier League community that helps with identifying captaincy picks, transfers, attacking options, clean sheet potential, teams to look our for and avoid, players to consider for the Draft game, the wildcard differential players, as well as general analysis and comments.
Scout Picks: Picking a squad of 15 for a single Gameweek, without any budget, using the rules of the FPL - formations, captains and vice captains, and the player limits of 3 per club (chips will not be feature of these weekly picks)
Each team must pick a Captain, labelled as (c) and a Vice Captain listed as (vc).
Fixture Prediction: Gameweek 16 Bournemouth 0-3 Liverpool Arsenal 3-0 Huddersfield Burnley 1-1 Brighton Cardiff 1-2 Southampton Man United 2-0 Fulham West Ham 2-0 Crystal Palace Chelsea 2-2 Man City Leicester 0-2 Spurs Newcastle 1-1 Wolves Everton 2-1 Watford
FPL Forecasting: Gameweek 16
Best GW Attacking Options: Liverpool (A) vs. Bournemouth Arsenal (H) vs. Huddersfield Southampton (A) vs. Cardiff Man United (H) vs. Fulham West Ham (H) vs. Crystal Palace Chelsea (H) vs. Man City Man City (A) vs. Chelsea Spurs (A) vs. Leicester Everton (H) vs. Watford
Best GW Defensive / Clean Sheet Potential: Liverpool (A) vs. Bournemouth Arsenal (H) vs. Huddersfield Man United (H) vs. Fulham West Ham (H) vs. Crystal Palace Spurs (A) vs. Leicester
Who are your essential Gameweek player picks?: The Arsenal duo of Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are going to be the hot property against Huddersfield at the Emirates.
Liverpool will also be up to full strength an should overwhelm Bournemouth, so I expect Salah and Firmino to also be reliable options.
Lastly, I can see the Man City duo of Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane being pivotal in getting a result against Chelsea.
Who are the teams to look out for?: West Ham: I expect this to be either a gritty game, or one as open as the Red Sea.
Southampton: New manager bounce incoming?
Arsenal: Captain Hindsight with this weeks obvious ‘should have banked on the fixture’ foretelling.
Who are the teams to avoid?: Wolves: Beat Chelsea, think they are safe options, and then struggle at Newcastle. Chelsea and Newcastle are two completely different teams so expect something unexpected at the weekend.
Man United: I think they will win, however, with the form of the Red Devils it wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if there was another 2-2 draw on the way.
GW Differential Picks: Stuart Armstrong, Xherdan Shaqiri, Hueng-Min Son, Salomon Rondón, and Florin Andone could be points scorers that have form on their side. FPL Captaincy Picks: (C) Pierre Emerick Aubameyang – Huge goal scoring potential against Huddersfield is the obvious pick of the week. If the Gabon international can’t notch a return this weekend, then it’ll be a huge surprise.
(VC) Mohamad Salah – Rested for most the game against Burnley, the Egyptian made instant impact from the bench and made a last-minute assist for Xherdan Shaqiri. An automatic pick in this position.
Other Gameweek Comments: Hopefully there is some normality resumed this weekend after a nightmare wave of rotation crippled a huge proportion of FPL managers.

Who are your essential Gameweek player picks?:
Richarlison, Harry Kane, Felipe Anderson, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Raheem Sterling and Mohamed Salah. You'll only be able to afford 2 of the 4 premium options, however.
Who are the teams to look out for?:
Cardiff: Southampton have a new Manager so you don't know how this one could turn out. The Welsh side have been half-decent at home and this is another winnable game to heap tonnes of pressure on those below them (yes, which includes The Saints).
Everton: Marco Silva and Richarlison face their former side in Watford. Wouldn't be at all surprised to see the Brazilian midfielder steal the show.
West Ham: A good home team against a poor away side.
Man City: Pep's side dominated this fixture last season and I can only see a repeat of the 1-0 away win from last season.
Who are the teams to avoid?:
Wolves: All of my instincts as a Newcastle fan make me say that Wolves will be in for a hard game at St James's Park. Chances for both sides might be at a premium.
Man United: I do not know when they'll win a game of football again in the Premier League. Terrible to watch and they always look like conceding. Claudio Ranieri must be licking his lips at playing Jose's current side.
Burnley: Sean Dyche was a lovable Manager when it was all going good for Burnley last season, but every since it has been a struggle this campaign, Dyche is coming off as a bit of a mug. It's obvious that the pressure is getting too him. Chris Hughton will love the idea of facing Burnley this weekend.
FPL Captaincy Picks:
(C) Harry Kane - Leicester is an infamous hunting ground for Harry Kane and there's no chance I'm going with any other player this Gameweek.
(VC) Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang - Huddersfield is an enticing fixture, but potentially a banana peel to avoid - The Terriers' love a goal away from home and have a compact 3-6-1 formation that will limit goal-scoring opportunities. That said, it's Huddersfield and Aubameyang is in very good form.
Other Gameweek Comments:
Dropping points: Do it if you don't have the captaincy options this week (you'll make them back).
Rotation: It's going to happen with Top 6 clubs as the final European group stage games are on the horizon. Liverpool and Spurs the most likely contenders given their stakes in midweek.
Mark Hughes: Over the moon to see the back of Hughes in the Premier League (for now). In general, I can't wait to see the end of the Manager's Union (Big Sam, Moyes, Hughes, Pulis and Pardew).
Southampton: His RB Leipzig team was ridiculously good and given even a tenth of the funds and time, Ralph Hasenhüttl is most likely going to be a success at St Mary's.

Other Gameweek Comments:
Auba and Kane surely going to be the top captaincy picks this week due to recent form twinned with CHE v MCI putting off managers from slapping the armband on players from those 2 teams. Also expect a few close games this GW with everyone being knackered and 7 of the match ups being quite even.
