FANTASY FORECAST 2018/19: FPL Gameweek 7
Ahead of each Gameweek in the Fantasy Premier League, The Hype Train invites a special guest onto its Fantasy Forecast, where the three members of the Hype Team and its Special Guests will duel for FPL supremacy in predicting Premier League scores, as well as going head to head in picking a Scout Picks squad for the relevant Gameweek. In addition, we give our insight into who are the players to watch and those to drop, both for traditional FPL leagues and the Draft mode, as well as providing insight into captaincy picks, differentials for the week, and more. Fantasy Premier League: Gameweek 7 Deadline
For the 2016/17 Premier League season, the FPL deadline will be one hour before the commencement of the week's first game. The Premier League website lists each FPL deadline, you can always ask on social media, and you can also view a real time countdown on our Weekly Hype page.
How does our Forecasting work?
We have taken to our Hype Team, and the FPL Community, to compete in a weekly head to head dual of wits. We ask the questions that dominate each week in the Fantasy Premier League: who to pick, who to avoid, who to captain, and who may surprise. The three members of the Hype Team, and a Guest, will provide weekly insight for the Gameweek ahead.
For the sake of respecting the rules of the Forecast, we have provided an example of what we're sending out to interested parties that will feature throughout the season.
Premier League Fixture Prediction: As pundits, we are testing our football acumen with PL predictions and will be providing regular updated tables and stats in each edition of the FPL Forecast. A perfect score is worth 3 points whilst a correct result is worth 1 point.
FPL Gameweek Forecasting: Answering the regular questions that come up every single week in the Fantasy Premier League community that helps with identifying captaincy picks, transfers, attacking options, clean sheet potential, teams to look our for and avoid, players to consider for the Draft game, the wildcard differential players, as well as general analysis and comments.
Scout Picks: Picking a squad of 15 for a single Gameweek, without any budget, using the rules of the FPL - formations, captains and vice captains, and the player limits of 3 per club (chips will not be feature of these weekly picks)
Each team must pick a Captain, labelled as (c) and a Vice Captain listed as (vc).

Who are the players that might make the difference this Gameweek in the Draft?:
Wolves defenders. Bournemouth attackers. Burnley forwards. Everton midfielders. Man City midfielders. Man United defenders.
Who are the teams to look out for?:
Arsenal: On a winning streak, and they have Lacazette in-form.
Liverpool: Underrated this week due to the fact they are facing Chelsea this week. I think it will be a tight game, but with wholesale changes to the defence will make the difference against the Blues than their flashback to 2016.
Who are the teams to avoid?:
West Ham: Despite them doing well against Chelsea, West Ham don’t have a good record against Man United and haven’t even scored against them in their past three league encounters.
Crystal Palace: The Cherries have scored eight goals in their three home games so far this season, and this should worry Palace who couldn’t break down Newcastle last week.
GW Differential Picks:
Being the guy in the team who picks the differentials I’ll admit that it has been frustrating to pick the right players at the right time. Normally the next week after I lose faith in a player they’ll score a goal. The biggest differential this season is Raheem Sterling, and due to his price and rotation risk he is always going to be a player under the radar.
Most FPL teams I have found can only really have one premium and two premium forwards, or, two premium midfielders and one premium forward. Raheem isn’t Salah or Hazard, so his ownership is very, very low.
Alexandre Lacazette is a great pick too, and a better pick that Aubameyang.
FPL Captaincy Picks:
(C): Harry Kane – The England forward has a dream fixture versus Huddersfield who have the leakiest defence. I think he is a better option than Aguero this week.
(VC): Romelu Lukaku – The Belgian has a terrific scoring record versus West Ham and I think he will give East Londoners even more nightmares.
Other Gameweek Comments:
The League Cup is no doubt going to cause some rotation. There are lots of clear-cut fixtures this week except for one…the Chelsea vs. Liverpool match. I think it is safe to trust both Chelsea and Liverpool assets. I am also annoyed that I can’t have four forwards this week, or five, to have Lacazette and Firmino alongside the big three this week: Kane, Lukaku, and Aguero.

GW Differential Picks:
Heung Min Son: outstanding last season and the mastermind behind his countries international cup win. If he can break back into the side we could easily see his name in lights as the FPL POTW.
FPL Captaincy Picks: (C) Sergio Aguero: Another rest for the cup ties should ensure another start. A favourable home fixture for the man in form is a no-brainer.
(VC) Harry Kane: Surely this fixture is the one to spark Kane's race for the golden boot.

Romelu Lukaku is thee essential pick for the week after scoring 9 goals in 11 appearances against West Ham. All of the essential picks this week are Forward's, with Kane, Aguero, Lacazette, Aubameyang, Firmino and Vardy, all likely scorers this weekend.
Who are the players that might make the difference this Gameweek in the Draft?:
For the long term, Anthony Knockaert is an overlooked option. The winger has a clear run of fixtures are Man City, so it might be time to stock up on a potential asset now, rather than tomorrow.
Who are the teams to look out for?:
Man United: West Ham came out of the Chelsea game looking a much better side but Jose knows ho to suck the life out of teams. I'm expecting a decent away day for United, with Lukaku in amongst the goals.
Leicester: Newcastle have a terrible home record against Leicester in the Premier League and I'm not looking forward to another roll of the dice with players like James Maddison and Jamie Vardy in good form.
Liverpool: It's their year.
Burnley/Cardiff: Defensively speaking, this is a win-win encounter for FPL players (let's just not hope I've jinxed a high-scoring affair).
Who are the teams to avoid?:
West Ham: Despite them doing well against Chelsea, West Ham don’t have a good record against Man United and haven’t even scored against them in their past three league encounters.
Crystal Palace: The Cherries have scored eight goals in their three home games so far this season, and this should worry Palace who couldn’t break down Newcastle last week.
FPL Captaincy Picks:
(C): Sergio Aguero – I'll be going down the 'basic' route this week, choosing to back the 4-goal and 4-assist Aguero against a Brighton side who are a shadow of themselves away from home.
(VC): Romelu Lukaku – See above.
Other Gameweek Comments:
Both Sam and Phil have chosen to play their Wildcard's this week, though I have chosen to trust what I have. What they've done is essentially sure up with Wolves defenders and Hazard. Both have Knockaert for the future and have ditched Foster for Hart... Not wholesale enough for me.
I'm choosing to ride the storm with triple Liverpool. Let's hope it pays off.
