FANTASY FORECAST 2018/19: FPL Gameweek 4
Ahead of each Gameweek in the Fantasy Premier League, The Hype Train invites a special guest onto its Fantasy Forecast, where the three members of the Hype Team and its Special Guests will duel for FPL supremacy in predicting Premier League scores, as well as going head to head in picking a Scout Picks squad for the relevant Gameweek. In addition, we give our insight into who are the players to watch and those to drop, both for traditional FPL leagues and the Draft mode, as well as providing insight into captaincy picks, differentials for the week, and more. Welcome to the Forecast. All aboard.

Fantasy Premier League: Gameweek 4 Deadline
For the 2016/17 Premier League season, the FPL deadline will be one hour before the commencement of the week's first game. The Premier League website lists each FPL deadline, you can always ask on social media, and you can also view a real time countdown on our Weekly Hype page.

How does our Forecasting work?
We have taken to our Hype Team, and the FPL Community, to compete in a weekly head to head dual of wits. We ask the questions that dominate each week in the Fantasy Premier League: who to pick, who to avoid, who to captain, and who may surprise. The three members of the Hype Team, and a Guest, will provide weekly insight for the Gameweek ahead.
For the sake of respecting the rules of the Forecast, we have provided an example of what we're sending out to interested parties that will feature throughout the season.
Premier League Fixture Prediction: As pundits, we are testing our football acumen with PL predictions and will be providing regular updated tables and stats in each edition of the FPL Forecast. A perfect score is worth 3 points whilst a correct result is worth 1 point.
FPL Gameweek Forecasting: Answering the regular questions that come up every single week in the Fantasy Premier League community that helps with identifying captaincy picks, transfers, attacking options, clean sheet potential, teams to look our for and avoid, players to consider for the Draft game, the wildcard differential players, as well as general analysis and comments.
Scout Picks: Picking a squad of 15 for a single Gameweek, without any budget, using the rules of the FPL - formations, captains and vice captains, and the player limits of 3 per club (chips will not be feature of these weekly picks)
Each team must pick a Captain, labelled as (c) and a Vice Captain listed as (vc).

Who are your Gameweek 4 essential player picks?:
The ones that won’t be rotated.
Who are the players that might make the difference this Gameweek in the Draft?:
Everton defenders.
Spurs midfielders.
Liverpool defenders.
Brighton midfielders.
Wolves forwards.
Arsenal defenders.
Chelsea midfielders.
Who are the teams to look out for?:
Everton: Even without Richarlison I can see a pretty standard win with potential on both sides of the pitch to follow.
Liverpool: It might only be the early fixture, but with the form Liverpool are in you cannot rule them out. Also, Jamie Vardy isn’t around to cause chaos for the Reds defence this time around.
Who are the teams to avoid?:
Fulham: The Seagulls will be relying on home form to get them through the season, and if they can replicate what they did against Man United, Fulham won’t stand a chance.
West Ham: The team with the poorest form is the Hammers, and I can see them getting picking apart by Moutinho and Neves in midfield.
GW Differential Picks:
Turkish forward Cenk Tosun deserves a goal.
Romelu Lukaku may be able to use his feet and score.
Alvaro Morata may surprise you with a goal.
Joe Gomez may keep Leicester from scoring a goal.
Mamadou Sakho might have a quiet game.
Pascal Gross may be on all three bonus points.
David Silva might survive Pep Roulette.
Nacho Monreal might finally be part of an Arsenal defence that keeps a clean sheet.
FPL Captaincy Picks:
(C): Mohamad Salah – I am too terrified of Pep Roulette to bank on Aguero, but Salah has been picking up points in every single game he has played, so why wouldn’t I pick him?
(VC): Sergio Aguero – The Argentine is still an option, and against Newcastle he could be a great option, naturally.
Other Gameweek Comments:
This is the week before the international break and before most the wildcards in the league will be triggered. Saviour one last week before the rotation kicks in with League Cup and Champions League kicks in. Prepare to say goodbye to your most reliable options.

FPL Forecasting: Gameweek 4
Best GW Attacking Options: Man City, Chelsea, West Ham, Liverpool, Spurs.
Best GW Defensive / Clean Sheet Potential: Man City, Liverpool, Spurs, Burnley.
GW Differential Picks:
Mateo Kovacic: Priced at just 6.0mill and seemingly in favour within the Chelsea midfield 3. He has shown great talent on the ball and is linking well with Eden Hazard. This could be the week he breaks out.
FPL Captaincy Picks: (C) Sergio Aguero: his record against the Toon speaks for itself. Pep seems to believe he’s in the form of his life while Newcastle are crumbling at their foundations.
(VC) Mo Salah: the lazy FPL manager's dream. Safe bet every week.

Man City (H) vs. Newcastle

Man United (a) vs. Burnley
Who are your Gameweek 4 essential player picks?:
Marcos Alonso – The Chelsea left-back offers the perfect quartet of FPL potential (goals, assists, clean sheets, bonus points), and is currently indispensible to players.
Benjamin Mendy – Alonso without the sizeable goal threat.
Andrew Robertson - See above.
Wilfried Zaha - This week's big hitter from outside the 'Top 6' looks set to be Zaha or Arnautovic.
Who are the players that might make the difference this Gameweek in the Draft?:
Any of the starting Manchester City XI could provide good returns. A clean sheet is likely, and the attacking players could rack up the points.
The Chelsea attacking midfielders – Willian, Hazard and Pedro. I’ll even go out on a limb and throw Giroud and Morata in the mix as well.
The Crystal Palace defence (PVA, Sahko, Wan-Bissaka) are looking solid and could be on for another clean sheet.
Who are the teams to look out for?:
Brighton: Home comforts look to be imperative for Chris Hughton's side this season, with The Seagulls looking a dangerous unit this season after 3 games.
Wolves: West Ham need a win and will be feeling the pressure at home. Enter Wolves, a side playing with immense confidence, and most importantly, playing with a swagger that could keep West Ham at the bottom of the table.
Man United: Unlucky to lose against Spurs, I'm expecting a big win at Burnley (and by big I mean a dogged 2-0 win).
Who are the teams to avoid?:
Newcastle: My team have been in the press for all the wrong reasons this week, and let's be honest, it'll continue for a few weeks once Sergio Aguero has finished devouring our corpse on Saturday.
Watford: Despite a great start to the season for Watford, most are anticipating a return to reality this weekend as Spurs make the trip across London.
Leicester: No Vardy, no hope against Liverpool?
FPL Captaincy Picks:
(C): Sergio Aguero – When a Newcastle fan is putting the armband on a rival player, you know it's going to be bad.
(VC): Mohamed Salah – You know the drill by now.
Other Gameweek Comments:
I haven’t mentioned Mo Salah yet – but the Egyptian King can return points in any fixture – I just think that Aguero and Hazard have the edge this week

Best GW Defensive / Clean Sheet Potential:
Crystal Palace (H) vs Southampton
Man City (H) vs Newcastle
Spurs (A) vs Watford
Who are your Gameweek 4 essential player picks?:
Sergio Aguero – 14 goals in 11 league matches against Newcastle says it all. We all remember last season’s hat-trick and the 5 goals he scored against Newcastle in 2015.
Eden Hazard – he’s hot and cold when it comes to FPL returns, but he looks like he’s getting back to his best and could return double figures against a leaky Bournemouth side.
Manchester City: After scoring 6 at home against a Huddersfield side that parked the bus, they could do the same against Newcastle.
Chelsea: The players are getting used to the Sarriball system and they’re looking better every week.
Spurs: The players will be on a high after the win at Old Trafford and could put a few past a leaky Watford defence.
Who are the teams to avoid?:
Newcastle: In general, stay away from anybody that’s visiting the Etihad Stadium, especially Newcastle.
Burnley: Playing in the Europa league seems to be affecting them, Burnley allowed Fulham to have 25 shots in their last match – that’s an outrageous number of shots in one game.
FPL Captaincy Picks:
(C): Sergio Aguero – It would take a brave manager to bet against Aguero
(VC): Hazard – Hitting form and now getting starts, I can see a double figure FPL haul this weekend
Other Gameweek Comments:
I haven’t mentioned Mo Salah yet – but the Egyptian King can return points in any fixture – I just think that Aguero and Hazard have the edge this week
